TCCS seeks to encourage students to the highest academic achievement possible by providing an education grounded upon biblical principles. Currently in the elementary grades we primarily use the ABeka Curriculum and have supplemented Bob Jones and other materials. In the middle school/high school we use a combination of ABeka, Bob Jones, Glencoe, and a variety of other curriculums. We are continually seeking to find the best materials for our students.
In the elementary school the basics are emphasized through a phonetically based reading program with core courses in Bible, math, science, history, and English as well as a number of electives. Elementary classes K5-6 are also able to spend time in our modern, well equipped computer lab on a weekly or biweekly basis for one semester and art the other. They also have music at least once a week, (with the option of taking band in 4th-12th grades), and physical education classes each week. Extra curricular activities include a full sports program, clubs, field trips, and social activities.
